@fadyshiw us recent pictures. What about rust or paint condition now
current situation is that rust started to spread at rear wheel curves, at the edges of front Screen, rear upper part of roof under the boot door and at hinges of front door. actually car faced whole rainy season this year. i will post recent picture soon in sha Allah.
@capsat @Xulfiqar What @fady04 has stated, This is the usual issue with old car owners faces specially Karachites that after spending too much money + effort + time, this rust issue gets comeback very quick mainly just after 1 heavy monsoon season, car starts affecting so what should be precautionary measures to avoid or prolong this process to increase metal life
Secondly, some Turkish made Electronic Rust Protection Module for car/ Electronic Rust Control Device are available in market which are much similar to:
So do such Care Corrosion & Rust Inhibitors really works?
Unless we change "washing car every day is an Order from GOD" , nothing changes, no device can change or slow down rusting.
dry clean the car every day.
Yes, that is also factor but That is controllable but what Karachites will do about monsoon and saltish winds, mositure in the air, humidity, dews in early morning
after the dent paint job i used this car in Hyderabad, Sindh for almost one and a half years and used to wash it weekly. but then I moved to Karachi. and here I noticed that this was when it started to rust again. so what you are saying is so true. this salty humid weather of Karachi is a killer for metals.
if this thing works it would be great. let me research about it
@fady04 Actually, 1st time such device was introduced to me by Mr. Faisal Shamim at AutoXperts in Karachi some around 8 years ago.You can try as some of it have good reviews(online reviews)
yesterday i checked some reviews some of them said its good device but one mechanic rejected this by saying that this is only scam. basic functionality of this device is that it circulates current from one end to another between its cathodes and anodes. and that mechanic said that there are so many devices in modern cars doing same job like Central Locking etc. so there is no need for itfor reference i am sharing that video's link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2B7ozAEe2w
