Then you would absolutely love snow tires when used in summer, they act like bubble gum in summer, you will literally have them shaved off in under 10 kms.
Anyway, soft and hard compound are terms coined by “sunglass wearing rim and tire salesman” what you need to be concerned is that the tire is either A/S or UHP (summer tire)
UHP are by default more pliable and have very good water shedding too, they dont have long life but make any car behave fantastic.
While A/S are for people who want best of all worlds but at some compromises as they never push the car to its limits.
