Good day to you too.
Here in Pakistan they have only sold the 1.6 car (Tiggo 8 Pro). I dont know about South Africa but the cars here are assemble in Pakistan. More about that later. Yes, I have a similar problem but not exactly. While traveling at a steady speed, the cars does wonder about but not excessively - by comparison, our Haval Jolion is rock steady. It gets worse under hard acceleration. The power to the wheels seems to pogo between left and right front wheels almost like a cyclical torque steer making me to grip the steering hard countering the torque steer trying to keep the car in the lane.
I have had the car alignment thrice and replaced the original tires from original Coopers to Continentals with no real improvement. My car is one of the early production examples from the factory here. I was told by the dealership that these cars come from the factory with alignment issues and that they have correct the alignment. I will say that the dealer doesn't really really follow the alignment figures set out in the instruction manual. My guess is that I have to find a reputable alignment place that will follow and set the data from the book and not what they think it should be.
