Dear Brother
I just bought APC su1400rmxl ib3u 24v model. Attached brand new 2 exide n140 batteries with it. I am facing slow charging issue with it. It gives out 4.60 to 5.00 amps max for charging. Also voltage out is 25.50 avg. Without load (if batteries are removed) voltage is 27.18 which is OK. But charging amps are the culprit here. Battery never charges beyond 3 lights. Any help regarding this issue is greatly welcome. I am not a resident of lahore so not possible to take it somewhere.
Regards Sheraz
bhai the vendor ho has sold u this old crap is the main culprit .... if possible change this model and ask him to give u sua1500i .. the model u r using when founder of pakistan was doing masters ... as far as charging is concern ur ups needs to b calibrised and sychronised with ur batteries ... if the person from whom u hv purchased this ups is not willing to change it then ask him to recalibrise the ups so that ups cud go to 10 to 12 amps which is its ideal charging current ...
