Few days ago I went to see DHA valley physically.
What I saw was very disappointing. what I derived that DHA valley is a joint venture of DHA, Bahria & Habib Rafiq construction.
Baharia is a developer, HR as constructor & DHA's name is being used for attraction.
It is very far from DHA. Even 8-10 km away from Rawat. I used DHA express way for reaching DHA valley. Construction work was very slow even in DHA. what to talk about valley. I asked from a person there that why this project is being delayed. He replied that the joint venture of three companies is the reason for delay. All three are working speedily on their own projects and they have least interest in DHA Valley.
DHA expressway is not complete. It ends near railway line. There will be an overhead bridge for DHA express for reaching beyond the railway line. So we diverted from DHA expressway towards Rawat Industrial Area road. After 5-6 kms we saw another incomplete bridge on Ling stream. There were only few pillars. construction work was stopped there. Also seen some development in blue bell section. I was also seeing the scene through GPS. It was showing 'Daducha Dam' nearby but I was unable to find any Dam there. There was only 'Ling river / stream'. The locals informed me that Daducha Dam does not exist. It is a proposed Dam.
When we reach near bluebell sector, few men having axes came to us and asked whether we are from Bahria Town. They were cursing Malik Riaz for the reason that he grabbed their land with fraud etc. They informed that they got stay from the court and the construction work has stopped. They do not allow any Bahria Town vehicle to pass through. The have blocked the roads by laying bushes and wood to prevent heavy vehicles. They only allow private vehicles. They further informed that Ch. Nisar is supporting them against Malik Riaz. Now Bahria town is using Rawat -Kallat Syeadan Road for reaching DHA valley.
What I derived is that this project will not flourish unless Ch. Nisar is replaced or till the changing of present government. The development work is very slow. It will take five to ten years at least. This scheme was flop till a year ago and was going in minus. The current price is due to the investors / property dealers who purchased plots from general public and now they are re-selling along with profit.
I will visit DHA from Rawat-Kallar syedan road soon to see the development work of DHA Valley and DHA homes. Lets c.
