Pakistan recently got a couple of exciting new electric vehicles (EVs). First it was MG Pakistan with MG4 and MG ZS, and now DFSK has introduced an all-new Seres 3. All three are exciting additions with multiple new specs, features and options and that is why we decided to bring a detailed comparison of these three new EVs. We will compare the battery, power, exterior, interior and safety options of these EVs, so that the consumers can make an educated decision.
This comparison is among Seres 3, MG ZS and MG4 Essence.
Dimensions & Body Type
The Seres 3 is 4385 mm long, 1850 mm wide and 1650 mm, while MG ZS Luxury is 4314 mm long, 1809 mm wide and 1644 mm high. Lastly, MG4 Essence has length of 4287 mm, width of 1836 mm and height of 1504 mm, making Seres 3 the longest, widest and highest among these three.
Meanwhile, Seres 3 and MG ZS are B-Segment C-SUVs compared to C-segment hatchback MG4.
Power & Range
The crossover SUV by DFKS has electric motor power of 120 kW, battery capacity of 49.34 kWh and range of 403 kilometers/charge, against 141 kW electric power,51.1 kWh battery and 320 kilometers of range of MG ZS. Lastly, MG4 comes with 201 kW of electric motor power, 64.0 kWh battery and 435 kilometers range. It is pertinent to mention that the range of all three vehicles is company claimed and may vary from driver to driver.
Exterior
The Seres 3 has an electronic sunroof compared to a sun plus moon one in MG ZS, however it is not offered in MG4. Then the alloy wheels in Seres and MG are 18-inch compared to 17-inch in ZS.
Interior
The first noticeable thing in the interior is seats and Seres 3 and ZS come with leather, while MG 4 has PU leather and fabric seats. The size of infotainment in Seres 10.25-inch compared to 8-inch in ZS and 10.12-inch in MG4. All three have driver plus passenger heated seats.
Safety
The common safety features in these three EVs are 6 airbags, Lane Departure Warning, and front plus rear parking sensors. Both MG cars offer Lane Keep Assist and Blind spot Monitoring which is not available in Seres 3. Furthermore, Seres and ZS come with Auto Emergency Braking and not in MG4 and lastly, all three has Collision Warning System in them.
Price
The current price of Seres 3 is Rs. 9,199,000, MG ZS Essence costs Rs. 12,990,000 and lastly the price tag on MG4 Essence is Rs. 12,990,000.
