Hyundai Nano Cooling Film – Garmi ka Hal?
Hyundai Motor has rightly targeted the pain points of Pakistani commuters by launching its nano cooling film for vehicle windshields and windows. Summers are usually harsh in most of Pakistan, with temperatures going over 45 degrees Celsius, leading to excessive use of air conditioners and heavy fuel consumption.
Key Features
Hyundai has introduced a clear film in Lahore, Pakistan, under the campaign ‘Made Cooler by Hyundai’ to beat the heat in hot and dry seasons. This film is fully transparent to avoid obstruction while driving in the daytime and reduce glare at nighttime. It is composed of three nanostructured layers that effectively block or emit specific wavelengths of sunlight.
Unlike the traditional black tint, which hinders visibility and is considered unauthorized by the country’s law, this new technology can effectively reduce the cabin temperature up to 15°C.
5 Benefits of Hyundai Nano Cooling Film
· The nano-cooling film blocks external heat while reflecting UV rays without obstruction in driving.
· It emits the trapped heat of the cabin and reduces the temperature to improve the driver’s experience.
· Cooling film saves you on fuel expenses by reducing AC usage.
· The film protects the interior plastic parts from deterioration.
· Due to its complete transparency, it is legal and authorized by the law.
Future Plans
With the launch of cooling films in Pakistan, the Korean manufacturer aims to enhance the driving experience during hot climates. The OEM is offering free installation of these films to the first 70 cars in Lahore under the pilot campaign ‘Made Cooler by Hyundai’. What I found the best about this project is that these films can be installed on any car, irrespective of the model or brand. However, Hyundai is going to use this campaign data for future commercialization, effectiveness analysis, and mass production in Pakistan and globally.
