Check the new MG HS with 2 liter engine. It comes in the same league of H6, Oshan X7, Tiggo 8, acceleration.
It has other issues. Requirement of high octane alone is enough for me to disqualify it for my use. Not to mention its slowest acceleration, poor fuel economy in 1.5 Turbo category.
MG HS has Hi octane requirement , DCT trasnmission heatup issue, Harder Suspension , Horrible fuel Average , Very slow resale. If your fine with all those go ahead and buy an MG HS , you can get a 2021 for 60-61 it was also selling for 60-61 in 2021
There is no AC isssue in 11th. MG has so many other issues ... so steering wala to kuch bhi nhn
Sir Jullion HEV also has v good acceleration, Problem is if we have to drive it at high speed.. or any crossover... it will be 2x unstable even vs corolla. Civic has no body roll so handling makes the speed actually worth it.
MG 2.0 also will be a flop... Haval is doing good but way too much body roll.
civic has no body roll due to being very low ..its the lowest pkdm car available even a m5 is taller ..but main thing to see is interior space,reliability,performance..in space and performance jolian is much faster and as far as issues are concerned only time will tell..no steering rack issue in haval as per now.
Its not only height.... its the suspension too. Take a corolla and put any lowering, it will remain a jhoola. Crossover is a different product and i really like Haval due to its features. But handling is not only about height.
Really? There are issues in MG that are more serious than a defective steering rack?
UPDATE - Got my steering assembly replaced today!!!
The issue started at 28K mileage, initially as barely noticeable while driving at high speeds and later on got severe. I filed the claim at Honda Ring Road almost 2 months back and I was called yesterday to get it replaced. I just got it replaced today in the morning.
For your knowledge, I'm attaching the part numbers of the old and the new rack here.
Very sad to learn that issues of 10th gen are continuing in 11th gen
Yes indeed. Main thing is MG claim process is next to NILL. Parts availability is also an issue. Honda pata nhn kab steering banana seekhay ga kasmay. Shamefull kay steering rack hi theek nhn ban rha
Mine is scheduled to arrive some time this week for my 2016 1.5T. Claim was filed in September 2023.
I think difficulties in imports in the past hindered this process. I believe they have ample parts for now, so let's be hopeful
I got amy claim in 2.5 months last year even when imports were restricted early 23. This varies due to dealership problems btw. I directly engaged atlas Honda and they arranged in emergency.
On my 2016 Oriel I had to wait 6-7 Months and part was only delivered after I talked to dealership owner directly. On my 2017 Oriel it took almost 3 months , didn't have to talk to anyoneBoth these cars were out of warranty when claim was filed but both were throughout Honda mainbtained .Kept a 21 Civic X Oriel facelift for sometime it didn't have steering rack issue and sold after a while wihout any steering racks issue.Currently I have a 2022 XI oriel AND I AM STILL SCARED MY CAR MIGHT DEVELOP STEERING RACK ISSUE!!
Wow and you kept buying Civics after your 2nd car also malfunctioned..
Personally will never be able to do that as I’m not that brave
For me reliability trumps most things.
Finally the steering assembly is here
I claimed my power steering in MG ZS, it was replaced in warranty within 1 week.

Comfortable Car 5/5Very nice suspension ( found 11th gen rs suspension to be better ; maybe its a new car)Good grip 4/5Good acceleration (slower than 11th’s) 4/5Comfortable seats but hard 3/5Too much body roll compared to civicShitty breaks 2/5Shitty hard steering wheel 1/5Excellent fuel avg esp on long/highwayDashboard is way too bigCar slips if you break at 160km/h and move the vehicle a little
Corolla's comfort is overrated. Its seats are just as terrible as those on Civic X, let alone Civic 11th gen.
